Alicia Sharp

Course Producer

 Theatre Royal Bath

Alicia’s background is in education, creative learning & dance. She oversees the recruitment of our practitioners and creative teams. She is the lead producer of all BTA’s work, pulling together the technical, logistical and creative elements of all our productions.

James' background is in education, arts facilitation and music. He facilitates the close working relationship between our team of practitioners and the core BTA team. James oversees the day to day delivery of the course, ensuring a robust student experience, and looks after the Academy's outreach work.

Head of Engagement at Theatre Royal Bath

Janine has transitioned from a 15 year career in formal education as a teacher and pastoral lead to work at Theatre Royal Bath. Janine is passionate about the wellbeing and the social development of young people in a creative environment. Janine oversees the management of the course.

Deb Miles

Bath College

Deb is responsible for teaching Theory to BTA students, ensuring that their written work underpins all practical learning. She is also a course tutor, supporting them both academically and pastorally.

Deb is a Bristol-based theatre maker and is Artistic Director of The Young Blood Theatre.

Kris Hallett

Curriculum Leader

Bath College

Kris is responsible for teaching Theory to BTA students, ensuring that their written work underpins all practical learning. He is also a course tutor, supporting them both academically and pastorally.

Kris worked in the industry in London for a number of years as an actor and director before moving back to the South West. Alongside teaching, he also works as a theatre critic for a number of publications.

Tracey_Cook_BTA

Tracey Cook

Course Administrator

Tracey has worked at The Egg Theatre since it opened in 2005, and has worked across nearly every department of Theatre Royal Bath. Tracey is our lead Administrator and is the main point of contact for BTA students, always on hand to answer questions and point people in the right direction.

Tracey trained in technical theatre and has a huge knowledge of backstage skills and techniques. Her organised and methodical process helps us run smoothly.
